Learn Gesture Synth: Play Songs with Hand Gestures
Gesture Synth School is a free, guided practice companion for the Gesture Synth instrument. It teaches you to play songs using hand gestures, one chord at a time. With chord charts, gesture tutorials, and a play-along player, you can learn popular songs step by step.
How It Works
- Left Hand: Pick a scale degree by raising 1–5 fingers for degrees I–V; index + pinky for VI, add thumb for VII. Tilt wrist to switch between major and minor.
- Right Hand: Shape the chord with 1–4 fingers for quality, thumb shifts octave up or down.
- Match Both: Follow the chart to line up both hands for each chord, and the song rings out.
Features
