Overview
ToolVerified is a curated, hand-checked directory of new software tools. Its launches page presents every published tool in reverse-chronological order, with 65 published tools listed at the time of capture. Each entry includes a logo, a short human-written description, a category link, the product's domain, a comment count, a relative publish time, and an upvote control. The site positions itself as "a hand-checked directory of new tools" where "every listing is written for the product it describes and checked by a person before it publishes."
Best for
- Makers and indie founders who want their newly launched tool discovered by an audience browsing new products.
- Product hunters and early adopters looking for fresh tools across AI, design, developer tooling, marketing, education, finance, and media.
- Researchers and writers who need a chronological archive of recent tool launches with short, factual summaries.
- Buyers comparing tools within a category such as AI and automation, developer tools, or marketing and SEO.
Key capabilities
- A complete launches archive ordered newest first, with pagination across multiple pages.
- Per-listing metadata: category, product domain, comment count, relative publish time, and vote count.
- Upvote buttons on each listing, with a running vote tally shown next to the control.
- Category browsing, a leaderboard, highlights, a blog, and a search form for finding tools by keyword.
- A submission flow for adding new tools, plus sign-in for registered users.
- Breadcrumb navigation and structured metadata (canonical URL, Open Graph, Twitter card) on the launches page.
Common workflows
- Browsing the newest launches to see what shipped in the last 24 hours, days, or weeks.
- Filtering by category, for example AI and automation, developer tools, design, education, finance and ops, marketing and SEO, media and audio, productivity, or sales and CRM.
- Opening a tool's detail page to read the full listing and any comments before deciding to try it.
- Upvoting a tool to influence its position on the leaderboard.
- Submitting a new tool through the submit form so it can be reviewed and published.
- Searching by keyword when you already know roughly what you need.
What to evaluate
- Whether the hand-checked editorial process matches your need for accuracy versus raw volume.
- How quickly new launches appear relative to other directories, since listings show relative timestamps such as "14 hours ago" or "3 days ago."
- Whether the category taxonomy covers your domain; the page shows a fixed set of categories rather than free-form tags.
- The signal quality of upvotes and comments, which are the primary engagement metrics shown on each listing.
- Whether the short descriptions give enough detail to judge a tool, or whether you need to visit the product site directly.
Getting started
Open the launches page to see the newest tools first, then use the category links or the search box to narrow the list. Click a tool's title to read its full listing and comments, and use the upvote button if you find it useful. If you are a maker, use the submit link to add your own tool for review. The footer links to the blog, about, contact, terms, privacy, and sitemap pages for more context.
Why ToolSift lists it
ToolVerified is a practical reference for anyone tracking new software releases. Its chronological archive, category structure, and human-written summaries make it useful for discovery and comparison, while the submission and voting mechanics give makers a clear path to visibility. It is a directory rather than a single-purpose tool, so it belongs in a catalog of resources for product discovery and launch monitoring.
