What is TG Downloader?
TG Downloader is a free browser extension that saves media from Telegram Web directly inside your browser. It works with public and private channels or groups you already have access to, letting you download videos, photos, audio, and Stories in original quality — one by one or in bulk.
Key Features
- Unlimited downloads — save supported Telegram media without caps or upfront payment.
- Batch extraction — select multiple videos, photos, or audio items from a conversation and export them together.
- Private content support — download accessible media from private channels and groups you have joined, even when standard saving is disabled.
- Multiple media types — videos (MP4, AVI, MKV), photos (JPEG, PNG, GIF), audio (MP3, WAV, AAC), and documents (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX).
- Telegram Stories — capture accessible photo and video Stories before they expire.
- No account required — no sign-up, no API setup, and no Telegram credentials stored.
How It Works
- Add the extension to Chrome.
- Open Telegram Web (version A or K) and navigate to the channel, group, or chat containing the media.
- Browse the conversation and select the items you want.
- Download single files or run a one-click batch export.
Who It's For
- Individuals keeping important videos, photos, and voice messages from personal chats.
- Students collecting lecture recordings, tutorials, and course materials into a local study library.
- Professionals saving creative assets, product images, and reference files into project folders.
- Anyone preparing Telegram media for offline access before travel or work without internet.
Privacy
TG Downloader never asks for or stores Telegram passwords, requires no registration, and does not collect personal data. Your chats and profile remain untouched.
