Split Billin is a free, browser-based bill-splitting tool that turns a messy group receipt into a clean, itemized breakdown — no app download, no account, and no manual math.
How it works
- Scan your receipt — Upload or drag a photo (PNG, JPG, HEIC up to 10MB) and the OCR reads each item, price, and fee.
- Add your friends — Type names for everyone splitting the bill.
- Assign items — Tap a name to assign them to an item; tap again to remove. Shared dishes can be assigned to multiple people, and portions let someone take up to 5× a share.
- Calculate and share — Taxes, service charges, and discounts are split proportionally based on each person's subtotal, then you share a clean breakdown link via WhatsApp or text.
