SoKal: The Shared Calendar for Friends
SoKal is a mobile app that turns your calendar into a social hub. Instead of juggling group chats and scattered invites, you get a live feed of your friends' upcoming trips and weekend plans, so you always know who's free or in town.
Key Features
- See what friends are planning: A live feed shows upcoming trips and weekend plans, so you can jump into the ones you want.
- Host anything and track RSVPs: Create events directly in your calendar and manage responses without leaving the app.
- Sync with Google and Apple Calendar: Events you create in SoKal appear in your personal calendar, and changes sync back automatically.
- Shared trip albums: Every trip becomes a place to look back on — drop in photos and build a shared album with the friends who were there.
Why It Stands Out
SoKal is built for real-life coordination, not just scheduling. It combines the utility of a calendar with the social feel of a group feed, making it easy to turn plans into memories. It's free on iOS and Android and holds a 4.9-star rating.
