What is Skriptr?
Skriptr is an AI workspace built for students who want to research, write, and actually understand their material. Instead of generating text from memory, it works from the sources you upload and shows the exact page behind every answer.
Key capabilities
- Grounded research — Skriptr reads your library of PDFs, DOCX files, web pages, recordings, images, and notes, then cites only from those sources. Every citation opens the page it came from.
- Skills for different needs — A Learning Companion teaches you a field, Literature Review maps it into a spreadsheet, Field Overview shows what a field agrees on and argues about, and Devil's Advocate argues the other side of your claim using your own sources.
- Writing that stays yours — Skriptr agrees on the angle with you, asks questions only you can answer, places the outline in your document first, and drafts part by part. Edits arrive as tracked changes you accept or undo.
- Collaboration — Invite others as admin, editor, or viewer and write in the same document at the same time with a shared library.
- Import and export — Bring in drafts from Word or Overleaf; export to Word, PDF, or Markdown with references intact.
Who it is for
Students who want AI assistance without handing over the thinking. Skriptr is used at universities and is designed so your work remains showable and defensible, with full control over the final paper.
Privacy
Uploaded sources and drafts stay private to your project and are not used to train models. You can delete a source or an entire project at any time.
