Prized: The Dev Box That Feels Like Localhost
Prized is a fully managed, always-on Linux development box in the cloud that behaves like your own laptop. Set it up with a single command, and your editor, terminal, and ports work exactly as they do locally.
Key Features
- Two-way sync: Edit on the box or your laptop; changes land on the other side in about 100 ms.
- Ports auto-mirrored: A server running on the box appears as localhost on your machine within seconds, including localhost-only servers and websockets.
- Sessions never die: Detach at your desk, reattach from the train. Everything stays where you left it.
- Reach it from anywhere: Access the same session from another laptop, a browser terminal, or your phone.
- Keep your setup: Claude Code, Codex, and your terminal are ready out of the box.
- Snapshots and resizes: Snapshot the whole disk before risky changes, restore into a new box, or resize in minutes with files intact.
- Agents never metered: Run Claude Code, Codex, or any CLI agent around the clock without extra billing.
- Pauses itself when idle: Pick an idle window and the box pauses automatically at the disk-only sleep rate.
Pricing
Plans run from $10 to $1,000 a month and land as credit. Boxes bill by the hour against it. New workspaces get $30 of free credit to start, no card needed.
Why Prized?
Unlike sandboxes that spin up for a task and vanish, Prized boots once and keeps its disk, tools, and dotfiles for as long as you keep it. It is a finished service at a flat price, with no platform team required.
