Multi Find
Multi Find is a browser extension that upgrades the standard Ctrl+F experience by letting you search for and highlight multiple words, phrases, or character fragments at once on any web page.
How it works
- Open the search box with the extension icon or
Ctrl-Shift-F. - Enter one search string per line; each line gets its own highlight color.
- Choose the match type per word: exact, beginning, middle, or end of a word or sequence.
- Jump between occurrences with the arrow buttons or
Ctrl-Shift-Left/Ctrl-Shift-Right. - Toggle highlights with
Ctrl-Shift-X, and switch case or diacritic sensitivity as needed.
Notable capabilities
- Per-word options: match type, color, annotation, and individual case/diacritic sensitivity.
- Multiple expressions on one line using the pipe character (
|). - Scrollbar marks, sound notifications, and blinking highlights to spot matches quickly.
- Site allow/block lists with wildcard URL filtering.
- Save and load full word lists with settings in JSON format.
- Light, dark, and system themes, plus a movable and persistent search window.
