Lynqo is a local-first collaboration suite that turns your Mac or Windows machine into a peer-to-peer server for file sharing, video review, and clipboard sync — no cloud middleman required.
What It Does
- Local P2P server — Runs a Rust-powered server on your machine at
localhost:7432. Any device on the same Wi-Fi connects directly. - Frame-accurate video review — Clients stream 4K edits straight from your disk and leave comments at exact timecodes.
- Clipboard sync — Share your clipboard across devices with a global hotkey.
- Invite-only channels — Host a channel and control members, privacy, and history. Everything lives on your local storage.
- mDNS auto-discovery — Devices on your network find each other instantly.
- Password-protected links — Share files securely without uploading them anywhere.
Why It Stands Out
Legacy cloud tools make you upload first, pay monthly, and wait. Lynqo skips all of that: your files never leave your disk, there are no per-GB storage fees, and it works without internet on a LAN. A 50GB edit that would take 40 minutes to upload can be reviewed in seconds via a QR code.
Pricing
Lynqo is free for unlimited P2P device connections, local LAN file serving, and clipboard sync. Lynqo Pro adds video review studio projects and public internet share links, with a 3-day free trial. If you cancel, your existing projects stay yours — nothing locks or gets deleted.
Availability
Currently under active development. Downloads for macOS 13+ and Windows 10/11 are temporarily paused during upgrades and will relaunch soon.
