FreeTube Android
FreeTube Android is an open source YouTube player built with privacy in mind. It is a soft fork of FreeTube that brings the desktop experience to Android, available as an APK and as a progressive web app (PWA).
How it works
The APK uses a built-in extractor to fetch and serve data and videos, and can optionally connect to the Invidious API. The PWA relies solely on the Invidious API. No official YouTube APIs are used to obtain data, and your subscriptions and history are stored locally on your device and never sent out.

Notes
FreeTube Android is currently in Beta. While it should work well for most users, some bugs and missing features are still being addressed. The project is released under the GNU Affero General Public License and welcomes contributions, with most changes ideally made upstream unless directly related to Cordova code or workflows.
