What Extypis is
Extypis is a writing app built for authors. Everything a novel asks for lives in the same studio: outline and scenes, sheets linked to one another, sticky notes, a research library, and an AI that has read your project.
Structure without the anxiety
Start with a single scene in mind. Outline, storyboard and chapters are three views of one text, so you can drag a scene from chapter 12 to chapter 3 and numbering follows while cross-references hold. Characters, places, objects, arcs and themes become sheets you connect with the relationship of your choice, then read as a network on the relationship map. The Snowflake method is guided one step at a time, and eight kinds of sheets ship by default, plus the ones you invent.
An AI that suggests, you decide
The editorial AI reads your outline, your sheets and the pages already written before answering, so it keeps the memory of the whole manuscript instead of starting from scratch on every prompt. It can finish a sentence with Tab, offer another version of a highlighted passage, draft what comes next in the direction you point it, generate portraits, places and book covers, write your back cover blurb from your own pages, and give an editor's opinion on consistency, pitch and show-don't-tell. Nothing replaces your text until you accept it.
A manuscript ready to be read
Versions are kept and comparable, repeated words and passive sentences are flagged, footnotes number themselves, and citations follow APA, MLA and Chicago style. Export a publication-quality PDF, DOCX for the publisher or EPUB for beta readers.
