What is CoAnimator?
CoAnimator is an agentic animation studio that turns plain-language descriptions into finished videos. Instead of clicking through a timeline, you bring an AI agent you already use — Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity, or OpenClaw — and it authors the scenes, timeline, and narration as editable project files while the stage hot-reloads in front of you.
How it works
- Describe the video — a product demo, launch video, tutorial, or podcast edit.
- The agent builds it — animation, timing, captions, and voiceover are written as code and placed on the timeline.
- You direct — every scene stays open for review and changes; the taste and final call stay with you.
- Render locally — exports run on your own hardware as MP4, with no credits and no per-render fees.
Key capabilities
- Agentic video creation with the agent and subscription you already have
- Templates and skills that teach the agent each video format, with documented looks and sample projects
- Real footage editing — text behind the speaker, spotlights, color pops, and camera moves on your recordings
- Motion graphics, explainer scenes, and 3D — low-poly WebGL worlds, keyframed cameras, and rigged characters
- Built-in plugins — TTS voiceover, sound, AI images, and YouTube research on your own keys
- Unlimited local rendering on macOS, Windows, and Linux, plus a headless
coaCLI for scripted exports
Who it is for
Creators editing podcast clips, reels, and tutorials, and product teams shipping demo videos, launch videos, and changelog updates. Because projects are plain files, videos stay editable and can re-render from CI when the product changes.
Pricing notes
Rendering is unlimited on every plan. Free exports are 720p with a "Made with CoAnimator" watermark; a one-off licence removes the watermark and unlocks 4K. No credit pools, no per-export fees, and no requirement to upload your footage.
