Certyneo: European Electronic Signature, Built on Open Standards
Certyneo is an electronic signature platform designed for businesses that need legally binding signatures without leaving the European Union. It covers the three eIDAS signature levels — simple (SES), advanced (AES), and qualified (QES) — and hosts the entire platform on sovereign EU infrastructure, avoiding exposure to the US Cloud Act and FISA.
What it does
- Send, sign, and track documents in a few clicks, with real-time envelope status (opened, read, signed, declined).
- AI contract generator that turns a plain-language description of your need into a signable document in about two minutes, covering EU and OHADA contexts.
- Multi-party workflows with defined signing order, validators, page-by-page initialing, and return-for-correction loops.
- Reusable templates with pre-positioned fields, plus bulk sending and mobile-friendly web forms on higher plans.
- REST API and HMAC-signed webhooks for embedding signing into existing tools, with OpenAPI documentation and a free test environment.
- Integrations with Slack, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zapier, and Make — no code required.
Compliance and trust
Signatures follow ETSI EN 319 142 (PAdES Long-Term Validation) and RFC 3161 timestamping, so any signed document can be verified by an independent third party — a lawyer, bailiff, or court — without access to Certyneo. Documents are retained for 10 years in an encrypted digital vault on every plan, and the platform ships with TLS 1.3, HTTP/3, SMS OTP for advanced signatures, and a signable DPA.
Pricing
A free plan stays usable indefinitely with SES-level compliance. Paid plans start at €9/month (Personal), €19/month (Standard), and €39/month (Business), with no annual commitment and a 14-day refund policy. Qualified signatures (QES) are available per act at €9.90/signature. Teams migrating from DocuSign or Yousign get free assisted migration, typically completed in 48 hours to 5 business days.
Who it is for
HR teams handling contracts and amendments, legal and compliance departments, real estate agencies managing mandates and leases, sales teams pushing signature status into their CRM, and finance or accounting firms running multi-validator workflows. Regulated sectors — healthcare, banking, defense, legal — benefit most from the fully European processing chain.
