What is bitdrift?
bitdrift is a mobile observability platform built for iOS, Android, and React Native apps. It gives teams real-world visibility into what happens on users' devices without waiting on app store releases or adding heavy instrumentation.
Key capabilities
- On-device capture with a ring buffer — log everything locally and only send the signals that matter, keeping telemetry costs predictable.
- Instant workflow deployment — change what you collect remotely and see new data roll in without redeploying your app.
- Crash and non-fatal detection — catch crashes, ANRs, out-of-memory errors, and slow screens before users complain.
- Session replay and timeline debugging — replay sessions with logs, network data, and app state changes to find root causes faster.
- Instant Insights dashboards — automatically generated views of app health, user experience, resource usage, and network performance.
- AI agent access — bd skills, built on the agentskills.io open standard, let coding agents query real device data from tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and Copilot.
How it works
- Install the lightweight bitdrift SDK and start the logger with your API key.
- Deploy targeted workflows to monitor specific events or behaviors.
- Review alerts, investigate sessions in the timeline, and explore Instant Insights.
- Optionally install the bitdrift CLI and bd skills to give your AI agents programmatic access.
Enterprise readiness
bitdrift supports BYOB storage so sensitive data stays in your own blob storage, and it has achieved SOC 2 Type II compliance. The SDK is designed for high-performance, low-overhead observability so user experience is not affected.
