Anarlog: The Private AI Meeting Notepad
Anarlog is an open-source, privacy-first, local-first alternative to cloud-based AI notetakers. It works quietly from your desktop without joining your calls, so no bot ever appears in the meeting and nothing is forced into the cloud.
Key Features
- Bot-free note taking – Anarlog stays hidden while you share screens and never joins your calls.
- Local by default – Notes, transcripts, attachments, and recordings stay on your device unless you choose otherwise.
- Own your AI stack – Run models on-device, bring your own API keys, or use hosted AI when you want it.
- Editable summaries – Turn raw meeting notes into clean, editable summaries you can refine.
- Open source – The codebase is publicly inspectable, with a large community following on GitHub.
- Flexible plans – Start free with local transcription, upgrade to Pro for cloud sync and hosted AI, or use Team and Enterprise for collaboration and organization-wide controls.
Who It's For
Anarlog suits anyone who wants to stay present in meetings without handing sensitive conversations to a third-party service. It is especially relevant for privacy-conscious teams, developers, and professionals who value data ownership and an inspectable AI stack.
